Who we are
ETA offers training and licensing in all classes of heavy vehicles from Heavy Rigid to Multi-Combination (B-Double), but also from Motorcycle lessons to Elevating Work Platform licence; with Nationally Recognised Certifications and Accreditations.
Our truck training program can be conducted with one or two students on board to give you the best training environment possible and the more flexibility with time of observation and time of practice.
ETA has developed and delivered training and assessment for the Transport & Logistics industry for several years. ETA is a Registered Training Office (RTO) and a Main Roads Western Australia accredited heavy vehicle and motorcycle training and assessment centre. ETA is also WorkSafe accredited to deliver Elevating Work Platform licence training and testing.
What makes us different
ETA is currently the only local truck and motorcycle training provider for Esperance, Ravensthorpe, Norseman and all surrounding districts. Student truck drivers will travel to Esperance from Perth and other places to access these facilities and this training in a private controlled environment. No other transport-training provider in the area can offer a similar service.
ETA will conduct individual lessons and day courses 7 days a week.
ETA offers flexible training options from hourly lessons to 1 or 2 day courses, including training and assessing. ETA also offers additional training if required.
ETA' licencing courses are designed to provide students with skills and knowledge that exceed the minimum standards required to obtain a heavy vehicle licence. In addition, ETA' licencing courses are designed to provide the student with as much practical experience as possible in order to further develop and consolidate their skills.
ETA have specialised facilities that make the training unique in Western Australia. This is because the facilities include a privately owned 300 acre property where drivers who are training can become competent truck drivers before entering public roads. This property is close to town and this is a ‘sought after’ feature of the training and assessment process.
Our trainers don’t just teach you to pass a test; they teach you to become a driver.
The owner / trainer for Esperance Training and Assessing (ETA) is Paul Mack. Paul has been involved in training motorcycle, truck and elevated work platform in the Esperance area for some years. ETA trains more than three hundred students per annum in truck and motorcycle licences as well as elevating work platform.
Paul has been a local for 46 years, has worked in the transport and motorcycle industry and has a good working knowledge of the local industry, local services and local roads. Paul has been involved in service clubs, local businesses and local sporting clubs and is well respected in area for which training is provided.
At Esperance Training Assessing, we prioritise a safe and enjoyable environment to learn, therefore we ask our students and trainers to follow some rules.
